Paris at the Met

A show titled, "Americans in Paris, 1860-1900" opens tomorrow at the Met and will be running through Jan 28. The Times mentions works by Cassatt, Sargent, Homer, Hassam, and others, suggesting that there's no single blowout artist or work, but rather a solid, coherent collection overall.

Too bad I just got back from my only trip to NYC this Fall!
